Chapter Quote of the Day

Jack tried to shake off the feeling that his life was being led down a path that was out of his control. His mind ached with the need to find some sense of normalcy. Jack wound his way through the crowd to where half of the bleachers had been pulled out from the wall. He found a dark corner, empty of kids, in the back row and firmly planted himself for the duration. Something had to give soon, and, for his sanity’s sake, Jack deeply needed it not to be him. ~Chapter 20~
