Sunday Ponderings

I watched the movie Big Miracle' a while ago with my kids and curled under a blanket because just looking at that much ice made me cold. The movie was good... based on a true-to-life story. And as I came across this quote for the day I felt the truthfulness of it... whether it be winter or spring, summer or fall, each journey we take may hit a 'winter' that seems longer than the rest.

Every mile is two in winter.
